Madison has previously worn articulating AFO's, solid ankle AFO's post op tissue release, flexible DAFO style AFO's, but most recently DAFO style SMO's. Previously used a posterior walker, currently using two canes, but with "hybrid system" can take some independent steps.

4 year old twin with spastic triplegia (>left hemi paresis), epilepsy, hemispherectomy at 8 months old, severe autism secondary to neurofibromatosis, severe cognitive delays, hips are 50% uncovered.
Has been ambulating for approximately 7 months.
Currently wearing an articulating AFO on left side and DAFO style SMO on right side with ¼" heel raise.

5 year old twin presents with spastic diplegia that includes an ataxic component to her movements. Hope ambulates with bilateral afo's and a walker - she presents with a crouch gait in a severe toe walking pattern.
In addition she has a severe scissor gait.
Has trialed oral baclofen and also botox injections at regular 3 month intervals.Due to ataxia has extremely poor proprioception

5 year old with spastic diplegia. Currently waring bilateral 2 stage afo's. Is constantly using a walker both in and outside the house. Presents with significant hypermobility of her lower extremities with hyperdorsiflexion, mild hyperextension at both knees and a very ataxic gait pattern both with and without the walker.
